This week I booked the kids in for an amazing play date at this new(ish) place right around the corner from us.

It’s called BambinOs – is a place where they can let their imagination run wild by practicing different role play activities. They can play in a fire station or dress up in the beauty salon. They can build a house or look after ill pets. Its so unique and so much fun and perfect for kids from around ages 1-10. So perfect if you have kids of many ages and yes folks – the best thing is we went during the heat wave and it is fully air conditioned.

BambinOs is located in Crayford right on the high street, we parked in the retail park customer parking which you can stay in for 3 hours – so it was perfect.

I first saw BambinOs on Facebook – and even though the boys have been to Mini City – (I have linked that blog post for you) that was a pop up event a few months back – that was only on for a short amount of time. This is something you can always go to. They have 3 sessions a day and each session lasts for 1 hour and a half. It is £6 a child and of course adults go FREE. I do believe it is the only one in Kent.

The boys absolutely loved it. Lorenzo was addicted to the Coffee Shop and Khillian loved dressing up as a Fireman and a Builder. I loved all the details in the different areas. And there is a lot. In the Coffee Shop Lorenzo was making macrons, making sure my coffee was a decafe, putting on his apron with ease. Khillian loved his dictaphone, riding the number of different fire trucks and testing out all the building tools. There is so much to play with.

The set ups are adorable and feature things like telephones at reception. brick walls, little tables and chairs for the kids to play their role play to the full and even the smallest truffles and ice creams to sell in the super market.

You were able to move around with wheelbarrows, supermarket trolleys and my personal favourite – the cake trolley. The supermarket was used a lot as there was so much to do in there. The kids were learning what food was fruit and veg and how much everything was. They were packing up their trolleys and paying for everything and then they out everything back for everyone else to play with.

The building area was a favourite. Khillian was building dens and houses and then smashed them and starting again. There was a digger to ride and use – like an actual real digger which the boys loved. Safe instructions were on the wall along with details about all the tools. A great way to help kids learn about the trade.

There is also a long rail of costumes that the kids can try on – fairies, princesses, all different superheroes and Star Wars characters. If they want a break from role play and just want to dress up for fun.

Next to the costumes is a salon – where you can brush you hair, look at your reflection and put your make up on.

We stayed the full hour and a half but could of easily stayed longer – you do have to book as it can get busy but we had a 9am slot so there was only another couple of kids in there.

There is also a vet section there. Which I am surprised my boys didn’t really go into as they both love animals – I think they just got distracted by everything else as there is a lot of things to keep them occupied. BambinOs isn’t just a play zone there are places to sit and relax for the adults too – as it is also a coffee shop. You can buy coffees, tees and soft drinks and they sell cakes, cookies and all sorts.

To finish off the BambinOs experience we did some pottery painting – which they have placed at the front of the shop. The boys picked a money box each and painted them. We left them there to be glazed and prepared and we will pick them up later on in the week. This is extra – each ‘pot’ price depends on the size I think we paid £5 each (they are quite big) and a keep sake, which I love.

I hope you enjoyed the blog post and if you have been to BambinOs I would love to know what you thought. It is open Monday-Friday so why not take your little ones there this summer?

Much Love

Assuntina X
