Welcome to the world…Birchbox.
I discovered Birchbox when I was listening to an amazing Podcast – Let’s Discuss (I will be doing a separate blog post about Podcasts, as I love them) and they are sponsored by Birchbox.
Birchbox is a monthly supplement box that is sent to your door at the beginning of every month and you can cater the products to your needs and expectations. So I had to fill in a quick survey with simple questions like is my hair greasy, dry etc, what type of skin do I have, do I like new products or would I like only conventional brands?
The reason it is all about adventure is – as well as these amazing beauty products you also receive a voucher for 25% off of a Generator Hostels stay. They have locations all over the world from Madrid to Hamburg and Copenhagen. So that is a very nice treat. Everyone loves a little discount, don’t they?!
So lets delve deep…We have in the July box:
This What’s in it for Me…? body scrubs smells amazing and I cannot wait to try it. I have a long queue of scrubs I am trying out at the moment but I love that this is a travel size and might pack for my holiday, and try it then.
Next up is the Eyeko Fat Eye Stick in Satin. I cannot wait to use this as it looks like the application will be easy and fun. I think this is a product I would use on a date night as it can make quite a statement. I don’t think the mums will appreciate this look on the school run. Or maybe they would?!
OOoooo I do love a blush! I haven’t used mine in a while so I might have a break and use this one from Manna Kadar. I received it in the colour Paradise. I love a multitasking product and this one can be used on your cheeks and your eyelids and anywhere else that might need a pop of colour. So looking forward to using this!
We all have breakouts at one time or another and this little bit of miracle magic is just what I need to help the situation. This little tube from Balance Me is handbag size. Which is ideal! It works to balance skin and refine pores and is great for under your moisturizer or just as a spot serum.
And, lastly…I love LOVE LOVE a face mask. I tend to put them on after I have put the kids to bed as it prepares me for a few minutes of me time. The Eye Therapy Under Eye Mask from BeautyPro came at the right time and I have them on as I am writing this post. They smell amazing and are nice and tight on – I hope they do look after my puffy eyes and wrinkles. Ill let you know.
I always look forward to this little package, as being a busy working mum and having barely any time to make a cup of coffee, it’s the little things that make my week. The reason I also signed up with Birchbox is because I am so excited to discover new products. I fell in love with the eyeliner I was sent last month (and was due to buy one – so great timing), along with the hair serum. So fingers crossed this box will be just as good.
I hope you enjoyed this post and if you haven’t checked it out already – you really must its £10 a month and for you fellow mums – – – You know you bloody deserve it! – www.birchbox.co.uk
